What are you dreaming of doing once the pandemic is over?
What is your Bottle Moment?
Your Bottle Moment is the one thing you'd most like to do again when everything is better and back to normal. It could be a friend you'd most like to see, a place you'd most like to go, a hobby you'd most like to get back to, or simply getting a hug from someone special.
For info go to this website: https://www.bottlemoments.com/covid-19-kids

Activity - Art - Colour Red
Go on a ‘red treasure hunt’ around the house with a box and fill it with as many red things as you can find. You can involve your child or make the discovery box for your child to explore. In my treasure box I had a red scarf, book, pretend food, blocks, bath toys, red basket, thread beads, cups, spoons and a red bean bag.
Explore some shaving foam/silly foam and red paint in a tray.
Can you use your fingers/hands/feet or a paint brush to make marks?
You can basically take any song and replace some words with other words including red. Why not make up your own song or chant with the word red? This is so good for oral language development!
Put some red over here and some red over there.
And some red on your nose and some red on your fingers.
There are lots of red things everywhere, everywhere!
It’s a red, red kind of day!
Tuesday 12th January
Activity - Home Photo Challenge and ICT
Wear your happy! When we dress we often do so to match the way we feel at the time. My challenge is to choose to wear clothing that you LOVE. Perhaps it has a soft texture, reminds you of a happy memory from when you wore it last, or the person who may have gifted it to you. Perhaps it's a colour that you love or fun shoes that make you smile because of the noise or way they look. Perhaps it's a Top Hat, perhaps it's a headwrap...or perhaps it’s all of the above.

Activity - Digital Story -
In preparation of the snow!
A lonely young snowball, stuck at the top of a mountain, decides to visit the local town for a bit of fun – but on his way he trips, falls, and starts to roll . . . and when a snowball rolls through snow, we all know what happens! This snowball picks up not only snow, but a myriad of other odd things on his way down – a sheep, a line of washing, a bicycling bear, ending up in the Zoo.
