Chellow Heights School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the physical, mental and emotional welfare of every pupil, both inside and outside of the school premises. We take a whole-school preventative approach to safeguarding to ensure the wellbeing of pupils is always at the forefront of our work.

All staff understand their responsibilities under safeguarding legislation and are trained to recognise signs of abuse, neglect or exploitation and to report concerns immediately.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Autumn Thompson.

Deputy Safeguarding Leads support this role and safeguarding matters can be raised with any member of the safeguarding team.
